Classes

 

All classes are held face to face in my private studio in Maendy, Cowbridge

Weather permitting, they are also offered outside in my garden

Groups are limited to 4 people

Patient, articulate and approachable, I allow for questions and interaction, offering hands-on adjustments and modification of postures making it personal & relevant to your practice

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Katherine 

​

Yoga has always been "time for me", a chance to really connect with my thoughts, feelings and allow my body to rest and heal. 

​

I am a 600 hours advanced qualified yoga  teacher. 

My journey began in 2020 completing my initial teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa & Pranayama. I then furthered my learning with Rocket training (advanced postures) under the expert guidance of Jamie Blowers of Jamie Yoga Trainings

​

In 2021, I completed an online Yin training course with Ram Jain of Arhanta Online Academy and later developed my love of Yin with Kitty Billings at Bristol School of Yoga.

​

In March 2023, I completed my Advanced Teacher Training with the inspirational Laura Gilmore at Bristol School of Yoga learning more about trauma sensitive yoga and yoga for anxiety.

​

Now I am enjoying the next stage of my yoga journey and sharing my enthusiasm with my own students.

Kath teaches with both a professional and friendly style. Her yoga classes relax, strengthen, energise and deliver that "Me" time that we all need. Each session is similar but different, with clear instructions and feedback. I like being reminded about when to breath in or out, I need someone to look at my position and help me adjust into the right shape & Kath does this in thoughtful and friendly manner & is equally good in praising us when we do it for ourselves. I was nervous at joining a class & starting with people with lots more experience, but I've felt really comfortable & welcomed, and feel I've made progress in knowing what to do next & it's lovely to feel I've accomplished something as well as leaving each class feeling warm & relaxed.

Although research shows yoga is gentle, some of the postures can be strenuous. When participating in any exercise programme there is always a risk of physical injury.  You accept full responsibility for your body at all times.​
